Colour planning

It's all in the planning. Making the right choice first time round will save you hundreds in the long run.

Think about the light and the uses of the space and take your time to collect colour swatches and paint samples.

Make sure the colours compliment each other or are in complete opposites.

Grey is still the most popular choice at the moment but remember, it's not going to be in fashion for ever. Remember the days of brown and orange? Well hopefully we wont look back on grey as we do on the brown era!

The spectrum of colours available is vast so try and bring warmth and life into your room with a splash of colour. Make it welcoming and homely. I'm not a fan of a room where one can't sit on the sofa or touch the walls in fear of marking it.
